Fairy Pools, Isle of Skye
Another place I intend to revisit, the Fairy Pools, so called because of the jade green colour of the water pools, though I doubt very much if I will ever better this image.
It just shows mood is everything. I've taken shots here with beautiful golden sunlight at sunset and yet I still prefer this. Memories play a part too, it was only hours before a storm ravaged Scotland for days, and myself and a good friend Kevin decided to take a chance. The wind howled right through the glen, accompanied by that fine rain that is more like mist, the type that soaks everything.
Walking back was the worst because it was head on into the wind and rain. Waterproofs are great until you take them off smoking wet.
Despite all that it was a great, and fun day.
