Milan Cathedral is an impressive feat of architectural and engineering mastery, taking almost 600 years to complete. The cathedral is adorned with 135 garlands and 3,400 statues, making it a true masterpiece of Gothic art and architecture. Stained glass windows include the largest one above the main altar, measuring 16 meters by 5 meters. The floor of the nave features an ancient sundial dating back to the early 18th century, which is one of the oldest in Europe.
