Lillafüred a small town in Northern Hungary close to Miskolc

Lillafüred (Miskolc-Lillafüred) is a town in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, Hungary.

Officially, it is a part of Miskolc, though it is almost 12 kilometres away from the city, and is located on the eastern edge of the Bükk Mountains, where the Garadna and Szinva valleys meet, on the shores of Lake Hámori, surrounded by magical beech forests. 

Mostly known for being a tourist resort, the town has quite a bit to offer for visitors. Whether you go there on a day trip or you want to stay longer, this place has something for everyone.
